THE FAMILY:
Orly, the dog mom of Jade and June, is also the creative force behind Jade the Golden Girl.
Before Jade and June came into her life, Orly had cared for many other beloved dogs, including one named Honey. Honey had been abandoned and mistreated by her original owners, left to wander the streets until Orly welcomed her into her home for her final, cherished years. Little did Orly know, Honey would not only find healing and love with her but would also become a source of healing for Orly herself.
Honey's presence left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her, especially Orly.
After Honey passed away just over a year later, Orly's son recognized her need for a new companion to help mend her heart.
Enter Jade, a bright, affectionate, and slightly silly golden retriever who shares some endearing quirks with Honey. While no dog could ever replace another, Jade brought renewed light and love into Orly's life.
Jade also has a rescue sister named June, whose silky auburn fur you might recognize from Jade's Instagram reels.
June had once had a home, but her owners inexplicably left her at a shelter in Istanbul.
Orly was invited to witness a special flight from Cairo transporting 44 rescued Golden Retrievers, including one she had sponsored named Ray, who had endured abuse and acid attacks.
Two weeks later, Orly received an email with a photo of June, who was also part of the flight. It became instantly clear that June was meant to join their family, completing the perfect match. And so began their journey together, marking the beginning of a new chapter filled with love and companionship.
